Certification — How It Works
"Certified" is meaningless unless you can check it yourself. Here is exactly what KaalVeda's certification means and how to use it.
What gets tested
A sample from every procurement batch is sent to an independent gemmological laboratory — Cambay Gemmological Lab, an ISO 9001:2015 certified gems, pearls and rudraksh testing laboratory. Gemstones are checked for identity and treatment status; Karungali is backed by a wood-identification report; rudraksha is additionally X-ray imaged to confirm its natural internal seed compartments match the mukhi (face) count on the surface.
How to scan your QR
- Find the QR card inside your box.
- Open your phone camera or any QR app and point it at the code.
- It opens your batch's own report — not a generic file.
What's on the report
- Item identity — what the material genuinely is.
- Treatment status — natural, or honestly noted if treated.
- Mukhi count (for rudraksha), cross-checked against the X-ray.
- Batch number — ties the report to your specific batch.
The rule
No report, no dispatch. If a batch does not pass, it is not sold. We would rather be out of stock than sell you something we can't stand behind.
